Supporting our local community

The Countdown to Christmas has begun and we are ready for our holidays! As you know DDC’s theme of the month is GRATITUDE and before we break up for Christmas, we did one last gesture of good will.

Kerrie Jones, our Operations Manager has been DDC Team inspiration as in the last month she organised a collection of food, toiletries and various goods which are needed in this time of the year by people less fortunate than ourselves.

Kerrie proposed to donate this to The Haven Refuge, a charity in Wolverhampton that supports women and dependent children who are vulnerable to domestic violence, homelessness and abuse. All of us embraced this idea as we were very pleased to support our community.

Motivated by Kerrie’s enthusiasm and dedication everyone in the office contributed with a little something. Furthermore, Kerrie’s children donated some of their toys so other children can also enjoy this Christmas.

We visited the Haven Refuge this week and we were very happy to meet the amazing people who are running this fantastic and valuable charity. It was amazing too see how many people donated and how involved the community around us is.
